Modified on Wed, 26 Feb at 3:03 PM

How do I find the Denso VE26A robot arm in WinCAPS III?

Answer

The Denso VE26A is a smaller robotic arm intended for learning and training purposes in the academic and factory automation fields. This arm has since been discontinued, but can still be found in the WinCAPS III software.

To enable this robot in WinCAPS III, a specific license key must be entered into the license manager.  Once done, this robot will appear as a selection option inside WinCAPS III.

  • Open License Manager, and click on Add/Remove License:
  • Enter License Key:
    • WCGS-UZXM-TP1C-Q4ZL
  • Click Add to add the license to License Manager.
  • Once complete, when you open WinCAPS III and create a new project, the VE26A Robot arm should appear in the robot selection menu as an option.
