Can Wincaps II be used on the RC7 controller?

Some RC7 controllers are able to work with the Wincaps II programming software. The determining factor of Wincaps II functioning on a RC7 controller is the ROM version installed on the controller. If the ROM version on the RC7 controller. ROM versions on controller that start with "2" are compatible with Wincaps II however ROM versions that start with a "3" are not compatible with Wincaps II. To confirm what ROM version is installed on a controller use a full-sized pendant and from the main screen select "Set -> Maint -> Version". In the example below, the controller would not be compatible with Wincaps 2 due to the ROM image starting with a "3".
