This article explains how to install the internal/external power source connectors that come with the RC9 (M and L variants) robot controller.
Each RC9 Controller ships with a quantity of two User Power Internal Power Source Connectors. These are D-sub connectors used for internal/external power connections inside the controller.
These connectors come individually wrapped in pink bubble wrap, and contained in a light brown cardboard box. They can be easily missed and care should be taken not to misplace them during unpacking.
The two dongles should be installed per the picture below. One on the Main Board (right), one on the Safe Motion Board (left)
It is possible to rewire the jumpers to supply external power. Please see the relevant manual links below.
