Overview
This procedure may be necessary when you want/need to transfer your Wincaps III license from one PC to another. This procedure shows you the steps to deactivate the license from your PC so it can be reactivated on another PC.
Tools and Parts Needed
PC with internet access, PC with Wincaps III activated on it or Wincaps III license key and unique key (for a PC that is no longer accessible)
Note: If you are not sure which part number you need or the Robot Arm you own please stop and contact your DENSO Robotics sales representative.
Step by Step Guide
Step 1 | 1) Press "Windows" key and navigate to Densor Robotics -> License Manager and double left click your mouse |
Step 2 | Select Wincaps III from the menu on the left and then click "Add/Remove License" |
Step 3 | Left click on the licese you want to deactivate and click "Activate" (This step acquires your license key and unique key for deactivation request later on) |
Step 4 | Copy the shown information (Product name, License key and unique key) |
Step 5 | Highlight the license to be deactivated and click "Remove" (You can skip this step if the original laptop with the license is inaccessible) |
Step 6 | Send a written request to deactivate the license key with the following information included. Send to: fa-contact@denso-wave.com Subject: License deactivation request Company Name: XXXXX Full Name: John Smith (Example only) Email adress: Johnsmith@ XXXX.com Product Name: Wincaps III Wincaps III License key: XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX Unique Key: XXXXXXXXXXX |
Step 7 | Wait for email confirmation that the license key has been deactivated |
