Overview
Any time you need to send/receive changes to the RC9 robot program or parameters.
Tools and Parts Needed
PC with Wincaps III (latest version recommended - must be Windows 10 OS or higher) and an ethernet cable
Note: If you are not sure which part number you need or the Robot Arm you own please stop and contact your DENSO Robotics sales representative.
Step by Step Guide
Step 1 | Connect the ethernet cable to your PC and to the RC9 controller's LAN port (programming port) |
Step 2 | Open Wincaps III on your PC -> File -> New Project -> "Get information from the controller for creating a new project -> Next |
Step 3 | Select the name you want to call the project and the folder you want to save it in and click "Next" |
Step 4 | Enter the IP address of the robot (if it has been changed from the default) - Default IP address is 192.168.0.1 (PC must be on the same sub network "192.168.0.XX" to communicate |
Step 5 | Select "Receive data from the controller" -> Finish |
Step 6 | The project will automatically save once transfer is complete. It is recommended to always keep a backup copy of the original project file that comes with your robot (also a backup copy of the project you are currently running). |
