A GSD file, which is read in the network configuration software of PROFIBUS master, is used to establish, manage, and design networks on your PC. There are several ways to obtain a copy of this file:
DENSO Wave Site
You can find a copy of the GSD file for the robot controller and other models on our DENSO Wave site.

Directly from the robot controller (Applies to RC8 / RC8A / COBOTTA)
- Make sure that you know your controller's IP Address and that your PC has and IP Addres that is within the same network as your controller.
- Open a Web browser and go to the following addess http://<RC8 IP Address>/eds/. Replace <RC8 IP Address> for the IP address of your controller for example 192.168.0.1
- Download the file RC800DD6.GSD
