RC8 / RC8A / COBOTTA

If you are looking to use LabVIEW to interface with an RC8, RC8A or COBOTTA* systems you can use the following option:

DENSO Robot Library - DPAM Inc.

The DENSO Robot Library intends to support a wide range of applications from just reading status signals to starting task programs to sending motion commands directly from a LabVIEW VI the library is capable of handling it.

Communication between LabVIEW and the DENSO Robotics hardware is done via b-CAP with a server running as a background process in the DENSO hardware, which reduces setup time.

*Currently special commands for COBOTTA are not ready on this library.

Currently, this library is free and in active development on new features and commands. Support is provided by DENSO Products and Services Inc.

RC7 / RC7M

If you are looking to use LabVIEW to interface with an RC7 system, you can use the following option:

Robotics Library for DENSO - DigiMetrix GmbH

This library is supported by a 3rd party company and is a good option if you have an RC7 system. You will need to enable the ORiN extension to run.

You could also use this library with RC8 but may be limited in the type of functions you can use.

NOTE:
These 2 libraries are made by separate companies and there are no "couplers" or converters to migrate your VIs from one library to another. If you need support with code migration please contact the proper channel.
